As you may or may not know, I have a mild allergy to eggs. Not enough to stop using them while baking but enough that on a normal day to day basis, I avoid them. This is one of those yummy weeknight recipes that tastes like you have been cooking all day long but really you just threw it together in 25 minutes.
So let’s get started. This is going to be so easy you might think I have missed a step. Start with some ground turkey and add all your spices and some oil. Give it a good squishing with your hands.
Now form them into balls. I used a small cookie scoop to get them all about the same size but you could also use a tablespoon measuring spoon. You decide what is right for you. I trust you.
Put them on a lined baking sheet about 1 inch apart and place into a 350 degree F preheated oven. Bake these delights for 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
Alternatively, you can brown the sides of the meatballs in a skillet. Once all the sides are browned, place the meatballs into a saucepan with some marinara sauce. Bring to a simmer and simmer for 20-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F. This takes a little longer, but is oh so delicious.
Seriously, there is nothing easier or more delicious. This can be a quick weeknight meal, an appetizer for a party, or part of a heartier pasta dish. Any way you have it, enjoy it, and then relax.
